ABOUT
Tupouveiongo Potauaine Kulihaʻapai
Aloha e,
My name is Vei and I am a Native Hawaiian, Mother, Artist, Chocolate Feign and The Author of this blog with a thriving addiction to collecting Pacifican Literature.
The outstanding stories of our indigenous heroes comonly remain underground in comparison to more widely known foreign histories, and so I spotlight our Native heroes through Art Portraits which I have made and I share their history through my YouTube channel, where deeper knowledge of their history is warmly welcomed when offered by viewers.
As we move forward into a more Progressive future, it behooves me as a daughter of Hawaiian, Tongan, Samoan and Fijian heritage - to make sure that our people are included in the scope of divine Females and courageous victors from the past on a world-wide platform. Empowering the generations to come by keeping a focus on our kupuna is a Hawaiian ethic and one which drives my work.
My products are printed on-demand to minimize the Carbon footprint of this enterprise. I know that art of the subject matter which I cover has been hard to come by and often times would likely be expensive, so I decided to create a product that I wanted to see - affordable art covering people and subjects that have inspired me as a Kanaka and empowered me as a woman.
